Better late than never, huh?

Hi everyone!!  Once again, so long between posts, but I have a lot of new developments to post about!

This Friday, I'm hopping on my plane to Kansas City, MS.  Josh is picking me up at the airport and we're driving down to Orlando together with a stop in Tennessee for the night.  I am so excited for this trip.  It's going to be great to get away from Disney drama for a few days, not to mention how thrilled I am about getting to see Josh again.  These months just flew by.  It feels like he left yesterday...and now he's back for the summer!

My rooming situation is changing in the next two months.  Margaret is moving out with some other friends and my old roommate Clara is moving in to take her spot, so it will be Clara, Erin, and me.  We're going to try to find another person to bring our rent back down, so Clara and I will share a room again.  :)  The real downside is that Margaret bought our living room furniture and decor, so I'm on the lookout for new furniture.  But this will all happen in early July.

This week, I auditioned for a new show that's going to be called "Amateur Dramatics."  It's four one-act farces that are set in the late 1800's, kind of the Mary Poppins time era.  All of the farces focus on the same eight people -- two couples (the Bradleys and the Perkins'), their friends (Mr. Yardsley, Mr. Barlowe, Miss Andrews), and their maid (Jennie).  The play is being directed by the director of STAGE, who was also in "Midsummer," so most of the people who came out for the show are from "Midsummer."  (Which is a blast because we all have such great chemistry.)  Lori (the director) kept having Cole and I read for parts that work together, which makes me happy.

We both got invited to the callbacks tonight, which were wonderful.  I was only expecting to read once or twice and ending up reading the most out of the girls for most of the girls' roles.  Lori's making phone calls in the morning.  I'm fairly confident that I'll be in the main cast and not an understudy.  I feel so confident about the whole experience, which is unlike me.  I normally don't feel this good after auditions.

Oh...and I have a date on Sunday!  :)
