I'm watching Monsters, Inc. and I'm having a blast. :) This is probably my favorite Disney movie that I don't own yet. lol...it's so sad. I check it out of the library every time that I'm there. But I just love it. I swear, Boo is one of my alter-egos.
I noticed something else today about another Disney movie. The more I watch Tuck Everlasting, the more I fall in love with it. That has got to be one of the ultimate love stories. I won't blow it for those of you who haven't had the privilege of seeing it yet. But Miles' story is so touching...and then there's Winnie and Jessie. I can't get his words out of my head..."Winnie Foster, I'll love you till the day I die!" Now that is love. And I love that movie.
The countdown continues. We leave Tuesday morning for vacation, but won't reach Disney until Wednesday. Those of you with texting abilities, please feel free to text me on Tuesday. I'll need those texts to keep me sane. lol In the mean time, I've done a few pre-packing things. I went through all of my shirts and pulled out the ones I'm going to take, 'cept Disney look, an occasional sweater, and my hoodies. And today I took all of my DVDs and moved them into a large case for easier travel.
We set up the driving schedule this morning. I'll end up driving a three-hour shift with a small break, which is just fine with me. Driving for a long time hasn't bothered me for a while. I got really used to it on my way to college and back. As long as I've got music for the road, I am good to go.
There are still a few things I need to get in order. My mom and I still haven't decided what we're doing on our last day of vacation, though she's brought up the spa quite a few times. I'd like to have dinner with the WDWCP people the day before move-in, though I think that could be awkward for my mom, despite that other parents are probably coming. Then again, sometimes I think she's more enthusiastic about this whole thing than I am. lol :) Once we get down there on vacation, I have to call Jacquie and arrange safe passage of my TV to her apartment. And Jonathan is getting back to me on if he's working the safari the day we arrive. I'd love to see my friends who are friends with characters, but I don't think it's going to happen since we'll be with my dad and brother. My mom wouldn't mind hanging out in line to meet characters, but I'd bore my dad and Scott with that. lol But that's okay. We'll have five months!
Oh, and the coolest thing! I was at American Greetings today getting a card for my mom's birthday and I came across the cutest figurines. It's the Disney "Life According to..." line. They specialize in princesses, Eeyore and friends, and Tinkerbell. Here are some of my favorites...compliments of
Westland Giftware.
"In my experience, guys never grow up."
"It's my fairy tale and I'll fly if I want to!"
"Instead of my Prince, I seem to attract the short, dopey guys."
"My Beast knows I'm the Belle of the ball." (For Jacquie)
"Stop me before I volunteer again." (For Clara)
"I'm in a Pilates pose and I can't get out."
To infinity and beyond!
