"O'Hana means family."
It's officially 50 days until I start my job as a WDW Entertainer. (OK, 49...I meant to post this before midnight.) I'm still leaving home on August 5th and won't see it again until January 2nd. (Unless I get home in the mean time.) But, still...I'm so close to living at WDW that I can practically taste it.
So, here are my musings from 50 days out.
I'm really excited to get down there. My roomie, Clara, is so incredible! I simply adore this girl and I have yet to meet her. She has spent countless nights online talking to me about anything and everything. She's been an outstanding support system. We've shared personal stories, talked about living together, and general hopes and concerns. We're trying to see if we can meet up before we get down there because she's only one state away.
Oh, and another thing...Clara has never been to WDW! So I get to be her grand marshal and show her the parks! I can't wait...I get to spill all of my Disney knowledge and expertise about the parks with someone who is just as excited as me.
I took out a Disney 2008 travel guide to read. Not that I really need to because I'm so used to the parks and know so much about them, but I want to read it up for fun. It's helping me get ideas of what Clara needs to see first and there are tidbits I didn't know about. It's a really fun read. (Still refers to the Studios as MGM.)
Clara and I are going to be suitemates (we hope) with Jackie and Nicole. We have a little forum going where we're talking about decorating, groceries, what to bring, and all of that fun stuff. I can't wait to move in. The one thing about college I miss is having so many friends nearby to hang out and talk with. The WDWCP is going to be exactly the same...plus, oh wait, we're going to be at WALT DISNEY WORLD!!
