"Holding hands together, side-by-side..."

I have another Pooh Bear story to share.

Winnie the Pooh was having breakfast with friends at the Grand Floridian this week.  He was in the middle of his restaurant rotation when his attendant asked him to go see a table that was about to leave.  While Pooh Bear wasn't that happy to leave the rotation, he did so graciously and went to see the table.

At the table, Pooh met Molly and her parents.  Molly, who was about 16 months, is the proud owner of about 32 Pooh Bears.  At the table, there was a lanyard full of Pooh Bear pins and two stuffed bears.  There was also a glossy professional photo of Molly surrounded by her bears.  Mom said that they put as many in the car as they could and only managed about half.  Mom asked Pooh to sign the picture and Pooh was too happy to do so.  He signed, "Especially for Molly.  Luv, Winnie the Pooh" and drew a little bumblebee.  The family was beaming from ear-to-ear.  Mom showed Pooh Bear the other picture...

and said, "Pooh, Molly brought this one just for you and wants you to have it."

Pooh Bear was speechless as he looked at the picture of Molly and her Pooh Bears.  He carefully handed it to his attendant and gave the family several hugs.  Molly's mom began to tell Pooh Bear the stories of her bears.  "This is her first one, Target Pooh Bear.  We have one that is missing his shirt, so we call him Naked Pooh.  And there was one that the dog got to.  Molly's grandma fixed it, but she didn't know that you had little beady eyes and gave you big ones...so we call that one Crackhead Pooh."

It was a wonderful morning for Pooh Bear.  He has the picture of Molly on his nightstand and is going to buy a special frame for the picture.

(LJ doesn't like my picture album right now, so be on the lookout for the picture of Molly.)
