Dear Grandpa...

Well Grandpa, I know you tried your best to hang on. You were so full of life but your body couldn't support your ambition. It's going to be really hard to go on without you, but I know that you are in God's loving kingdom watching over us. I think the hardest thing about losing you is knowing how much life you still had in you. It was amazing to see how sharp and alert you were when I came to visit you. We were all hoping and praying that you would get through this, but we lost the battle with God. He must have really needed you for something far better than we do. You have an amazing soul that will live on forever in our hearts, and I can see why Grandma was and always will be in love with you for every day of her life. I will truly miss your presence and sharing memories with you. But those memories will never fade because it would be impossible to ever forget how much you meant to me and how much I loved spending the time I was able to share with you and Grandma. So farewell Grandpa, you were and always will be one of the most important men in my life and I thank God everyday for being blessed with you as a Grandpa. We are doing our best to help Grandma get through this and I know that you are watching over her. I love you so much Grandpa and miss you more than anything.
