Weekend
this was a very tireding but awesome weekend. friday wasnt much of anything and saturday afternoon uk sucked again- heres to hoping uk fans can do enough to force out go no where rich brooks and his hole staff. joker, archer, and all-- they all inspire no hope. boooo. off the soap box again- the saturday night/sunday morning dad and i had to wake up at 230 in lexington to be at church to stand around and make sure the church pig- for the pig roast- didnt fall into the fire. sometimes being the youngest two to volunteer had a disadvantage. but earlier the pig had indeed fallen into the fire, causing flames as big as the church shortly before we got there- approx 200 from what we were told. well the dead pig was now burnt on the outside. it was awesome. well the job of dad and i was to make sure he stayed on the spit and didnt fall in, this required us opening the grill every 15-30 mins moving the coals and moving the pig. we were there until 6 and it was awesome, why dont more girls enjoy roasting a pig- id date them maybe. it was awesome, almost as awesome was getting back to church at 11 to cut the thing up. if you saw that you might not want to eat the thing. cause we cut everything up, i mean almost everything. at the end what was left was the ribs and back bone, it was awesome- tasted awesome too. very good night with about 3 hours of off and on sleep. but very good. just thought id share for everyone to enjoy.
