Ahhh...mIRC!
So I'm hoping that someone out there is mIRC savy and can help me. I've followed so many guides and none of them are helping. I've recently gotten into Bleach and I want to download the manga. I can easily get vol 1-7 from Bleach Portal, but 8 - chapter 192 or something are all on IRC. I'm trying to follow the directions but...I'm not getting any response. For example...
I connect to #manga-rain and it looks like this:

It says to type !rules for rules, so I do and nothing happens. But, I've also read that any command has to start with a / so I try /rules and i get this message:

???? So I move on. Bleachportal.net's instruction for downloading looks like this:

And before you ask, yes I did click on the help link and got only a missing page. So, I'm a fairly intellegent girl, so I try the first XDCC send. This is what I get:

Yeah, so I try to msg the other user and get the same thing. Anybody got any ideas? Anyone know of anyplace better to get these translated chapters? I'm trying bittornet but I never have much luck with those and in the past two days the file I've been trying to download is only 4% done.
Maybe I'm just being impatient, (i mean, my pupils are as big as dinner plates here. Also, has anyone out there switched from monthly contacts to day and nights? I just did today and it's a much harder lens. I feels like there is a fine layer of crust over my eye.)or maybe I'm just being dumb, but I don't want to be one of those annoying IRC users out there who ask the channel a bunch of annoying questions and winds up getting kicked off.
