So this morning I am driving to work minding my own business then all of a sudden from out of no where I see a car fall out of the sky (or so it seemed to me) & land on it’s roof in someone’s front yard.
I immediately pull over (there was a painted median beside me) put on my 4 way flashers & dial 911 - my phone starts ringing like a siren and I see people running to help the person trying to pull him out of the car (which for the record you should never do unless you think the car is going to blow). The lady asks me police, fire or ambulance?
To which I reply I don’t know all of them? I explain what has happened she puts me through to the paramedics first (makes sense). I am talking tot hem & he’s asking me all these questions. I explain that I am about 20 feet back & that there’s about 30 people trying to help the guy. He thanks me & says they are on their way.
I sit with my signal on trying to get off the painted median trying to get over to the people helping this guy to let them know that the paramedics are on their way about 40 people passed me, seemingly annoyed that someone has had the nerve to flip their car over in their way & even more annoyed that I am trying to get over.
Finally someone lets me in & I scoot over, open my window & tell them the paramedics are on their way. There is no point in me stopping as so many others have & it can get to the point of having people in the way that are not helping at all. I turn right at the next corner puke & gain my wits before I continue to drive & cause another accident.
This all occurred over 5 hours ago & I am still shaking. I so would not make a good “emergency” type person.
