I seriously am getting depressed about this whole job search thing.
I've even lowered my standards and I still can't get bunk!
Not to mention that whoever works at Work Source is a fucking retard.
I put in my resume to this temp place where companies go to to find their new employees..
The listing said it was Entry Level. Medical Reception office work. 3 IMMEDIATE openings.
Easy.
I get to the place and the lady asks me if I have any background in the medical field.
Of course I say no. Duh. The listing said ENTRY LEVEL. and 'No experience required.'
So her attitude INSTANTLY changed into a snotty 'greater than thou' bitch and she said:
"Well these places generally prefer people with experience in medical...So I doubt they will want you."
"Buuuut I can keep your resume here in case any other Employers are interested and they can give you a call."
"Oh..and have have you been doing since July?!"
So I explained to her the situation about my mom. How I've been getting paid by cleaning neighbor's houses and helping out once in a while at a friend's cafe..blah blah..
And her response? You guessed it...a snooty "Oh..."
