Just got back from voting. I live so close to the poling place that I walked there.
.
It was a real hassle to get to vote since (apparently due to two separate mail mix-ups) I never got my "voter ID card" and so was marked as inactive. They did have an "inactive list" but I had to fill out an affidavit to prove I'm who I say I am. Two election judges signed it so presumably it is legal and binding and my vote will have to be accepted. Also, I had just walked out of the building when it occurred to me that, while I had said that I brought extra ID, they hadn't asked to see any of it. So I went right back in and gently insisted that they look at it, just to be on the safe side.
.
I do plan to call those fraud reporting hot-lines and make a report, just to be thorough.
.
If anyone is trying to keep track, they were using all paper ballots and those side screened booths. No curtains. There were four of the booths. And I had no difficulty getting my ballot taken by the machine.
