First we went to Gattlinburg and camped out with the bears (supposedly there a lot of bears there), but it was in the mountains and it was absolutely beautiful! And if any of you has ever been to gattlinburg, theres a little town with the coolest shops, and we had soo much fun! However it was really cold so we only stayed for one night.
So then we drove drove drove through the mountains and into alabama, where we stayed the night in a cheap hotel, then off to FLA!!!
We went to St. Joseph Penninsula, which is at the southern most part of the pan-handle, and it actuallly is the strip of land the juts out into the water. It was the most BEAUTIFUL beach ive EVER been to. And in 2002, it was the rated the most beautiful beach in the nation. It was hot and sunny the whole time we were there (except for the day we got there), and i got burnt on my face (funtimes), and jake looks like a lil lobster.
But anyways, our campsite was in the middle of this rainforest, two seconds away from the beach and you had to hike through a little trail to get to it. It was soo amazingly beautiful.
Me and Jake rented a huge raft and pattled out into the ocean everyday to see how far we could get. And at night we drank rum, sat by the campfire, and went on the beach looking for crabs.
This is a pic of the beach there, and our campsite was right behind the dunes
I had a alot of fun with Jake, but i did miss my friends a lot, and i cant wait to see you all when you get back! I hope everyone had a fabulous spring break!! More pics are comming soon. Much love <3<3<3<3
