so today i am putting my foot down. i have been procrastinating about some things and its time i just up and get it done.
yesterday i had duty rite. and i was not on tha watchbill but somehow i saw next weeks watchbill and i am on that one and so i mixed everything up. i showed up at my watch, but i wasnt supposed to be there. my duty section leader comes in and goes "what the hell are you doing here? you arent on watch" and i go "yes i am." so he brought out both yesterdays and next weeks and showed me. well tha person who was supposed to be on watch never showed up so i just ended up standing it and he ended up gettin into so big trouble and i dont have to stand another watch while i am here. (see it pays to be in tha rite place at tha rite time.) i mean yea, i sacrificed eating for like almost 13 hours, but hey everything pays off. tha military isnt that rough if you just follow directions and take a lil initiative to do stuff.
i am tired as heck. you all know i am sun burnt, and that has prevented me from gettin any sleep tha past 4 nites. oh well, i should be back to my normal self soon.
so during tha day, they find busy work for us who are waiting for tha ship. so they assigned me to tha brig. (military jail for those of you who dont know) it is interesting. yesterday they came in and was like "you cant go into tha break room, we are doing a strip-search." i was like ok. tha next thing you know, tha guy walks out and he is walkin funny, and tha petty officer had gloves on. they did a cavity search. if you dont know what that is, ask someone, cuz i aint saying what that is in my livejournal. lol. its pretty sickening though. we are stripping tha paint off tha walls in tha brig and we are gettin ready to re-paint them. then we have to lay carpet in those rooms. we are doing this cuz in a month or 2 tha brig is having a serious inspection and they want everything to look perfect. but what i dont understand is why they dont have tha inmates doing it. they are tha ones in trouble, so they should be doin this job. but i swear, when i was sand-papering tha walls, i heard them beating someone. it was so scary in there. i am not even playin. its worse than a regular prison.
oh well, thats all tha excitement i have. until next time.
