Okay, because I feel like writing in pink, consider that as an indication of my mood. I'm soo happy and having the time of my life!!!!
First off, joining a sorority has been the most controversial and exciting time so far in my college career. I was always the typical anti-sorority person. But after meeting the girls and getting to know what it is all about, I have realized that I was making the judgements solely based on hear-say and what happens in the papers, and books, and on T.V. It's not like that at all. Yes the girls like to party, but who doesnt? And yeah they are alittle more focused on the frat boys, but cmon? Who really cares? Just because they all want to date a frat boy doesnt mean that I have to. Speaking of which however, I am taking one to Hayride.. ::gasp:: I know!
Hayride is this Thursday, and I was telling Nikki, that I didnt have a date like two weeks ago, and she got so excited about finding me a date. Apparently it is the best thing right now, because all the sisters are talking about my date that they found. They all really like him. His name is Chad. I havent met him yet, I am meeting him tonight when we go to the bar to celebrate Kristen's and Genivieves birthdays! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS!! hehe) But I did see some drunken pictures of him, lol the girls couldnt find better ones! But still in the pics he did look kinda cute. We will see. I hope he is. I know I am superficial but too damn bad. I like what I like, and if hot boys are what I like then that is that. End of story.
I didnt do a whole lot this weekend, Actually, I did almost next to nothing. Friday night at like 10, I went over to the DZ house to turn something in and ended up hanging out with a a few of the girls. Some girls were down in the living room watching Halloween, and we were all sitting in the hallway on the second floor eating popcorn and laughing about things. Every now and then we would hear the girls downstairs screaming. LMAO! Then Kelly got the great idea to go outside and pound on the windows by the girls to scare them. They did it twice in a row and the girls screamed both times so loud! Maureena started to cry because she is so scared of shit like that lmao. We were all laughin at how loud they screamed when they did that. After Kelly and Nikki came back, about 20 minutes later they, went back out and did it again. It was great. Then we tried calling some of the guys in the frats to see if anyone had a hockey mask and could come over and either just stand in the window for a second, or pound on it too. But most of the guys were at the bar, or didnt have any masks. Eh, it was ok though. Then at like 11:30, Nikki was like 'I want pizza!' and I was like OMG me too! So we drove to Little Caesars really fast, and then got a $5 pizza and came back and watching King of Queens, and ate the pizza. The thing is we ate it so damn fast that we both looked down and were like "whoa!" haha.
Also, for Hayride, Megan is taking this guy Antonio, and guess what? He is my History SI!!! He came to the house last night to pick her up for a date, and all of us in our meeting were like standing in the doorway waiting to meet him. When he came back from downstairs from meeting all the girls up there, we were all laughing so hard. He looked at me and he was like "Why werent you at study session tonight?" hahahahahaha! It was so funny. Well hopefully Hayride will be fun. The girls are all saying it will be a blast.
I'm loving everything though. I dont really have any girl friends anymore...long story and I dont feel like getting into it. Anywho, I just dont, and lately I really miss talking to someone, and being able to have a gal pal to talk to about things that you know only girls can talk to and have someone to just hang out with and have fun! I was really sad and missed having that alot. I havent had that since I left STATE ::tear:: ::sniff:: But the girls are sweethearts! And so funny too! We get our big sisters at the beginnning of next month! It seems like forever away! The entire week before we find out, we get presents everyday from our big! YAY! hehe. There are alot of girls taking a little sister. We have to choose our top three that we would want. It's so hard, because I dont know alot of them. I mean the ones that I know are the ones that the other new girls know too, and will probably pick as well! Plus I would feel bad if I didnt pick someone. I'm thinking that I am going to pick Nikki as one of my choices. Nikki and I have been hanging out alot and we are becoming pretty good friends. Which is really cool. Some of the other girls that I am thinking about might be, Kimmy and Kristen Porchia. I dont really know the other girls yet!! Eh, we will see though.
There is a sale at the Union, like a really good one with a shitload of awesome clothes, like Abercrombie, Hollister, and Express and what not for CHEAP prices. Alot of the girls went yesterday and told us about it and how cool it was. I dont have the money to, but I am thinking that I just might go shopping anyways. Hehehehehe. Okay, maybe since I still have some time to kill, I will head over to the Union to check it out. Peace for now!!
