The Hokies became the first team since the 2003 NCState Wolfpack to beat Duke and UNC in the same week (both of which were ranked in the top 10 when VT played them). VT defeated Duke 69-67 earlier this week, the Hokies 2nd victory in their 3 seasons in ACC over Duke (not to mention a 2 point loss on a last second shot last year).
