Jackass dies

Well, Steve Irwin died. Finally. Unlike everyone else, I'm not peturbed or sad at all. The dumbass deserved it. He hung around and wrestled dangerous animals for a living, no shit he was going to die. That was half the fun of his show, watching and hoping for him to get hurt. Nobody would be sad if Steve-O, or Johnny Knoxville died during a Jackass ( Read more... )

You are aware that Steve Irwin was a conservationalist first, entertainer second. All of his profits from DVD, TV, and movie sales went towards purchasing land for animal reserves. Sure he did daring things, but you could see how much he cared about the animals he was discussing in his shows.

Lets not forget about the fact that the last stingray death prior to Irwin's was in 1945... so it was more of a freak accident than it was inevitable.

The man's main mission was to save endangered species and educate people about the animals on this world. It's for this reason that he and his wife ran the Australia Zoo. He might have been crazy, but he didn't deserve to die. Not like Seve-O.

Aye, I did know that. And yes, a death to a stingray was kinda a freak accident, but when you're whole life you're dealing with animals such as snakes, crocodiles, and komodo dragons, eventually, an animal is going to kill you. It's a miracle he survived his multiple other encounters where animals have attacked him. It's one thing for a bachelor to do this, it's another for a married man, much less even a father. And the baby....he took his baby with him into the Croc pin at the Sydney Zoo. It's one thing to put yourself in danger, but when you're putting a child, YOUR CHILD, in danger, it's a whole different thing.
