It's been 19 weeks since my last entry...
... that's about five months. I guess I'm due to do an update, right? Well, lets see, what's going on with me lately?
First of all, I'm starting a new job next Monday. I'll be working at Eric Campbell Ford Lincoln Mercury. I'll be doing Parts there. I'm pretty excited about it. This is the first job I've gotten without an interview, I'd say that's impressive. What was even more odd about the situation was that I had also had another job offer at the time. I had applied to Herbal Magic to be a Health Counselor, and was told to take the weekend to think about it, make sure I wanted the job. This whole process there had already been dragged on over two weeks, I was stoked and wanted to start my new job, but I respected her wishes and took the weekend to think about it. Good thing I did because the next day (friday) I was offered the job at Ford. I don't think this was a coincidence, I'm starting to wonder if this was ment to be. If I was held off of this job for a bit so that I would get the other job offer. Either way, I really hope I enjoy the job, and that this is something I can make a career of and stay at for a long time.
Hrm... what else is new? Well there's my poetry book. I've put together a collection of my best poems into a book. I'd like to find a publisher, but I'm starting to wonder if self-publishing is the way to go. Finding a publisher is a long drawn out task. It can take up to a year for a publisher to get back to you. So I'm still thinking about this one.
Then there is my music. I've decided to get serious about it. I've found someone to work with, that records his own music. We will be doing a hip hop project together. Perhaps after that I'll find a band to work with and do some alternative music. A career in music, now THAT would be amazing!
So that's my news for now... and as I always say over and over... I'll try to update more often...
