It was a fun and fabulous weekend spent mostly with Tracy and friends from home. Five days in a row Tracy and I hung out, and life seems that much better when she is around. Friday we went to a concert in the park in Park Ridge and she made falafel for dinner. Saturday we spent mostly in Schaumburg, first at Rob's wedding, then at H&M, then going to dinner and over at Erik's until she was very much exhausted and we headed back to Evanston. It's interesting seeing the differences between Park Ridge and Schaumburg, Schaumburg with it's cookie cutter houses and wide open roads with strip malls all around you and Park Ridge with it's picturesque houses without much of a backyard but side by side causing you to just be awestruck. Park Ridge has an actual sense of community overall it seems, Schaumburg I think is more broken up into parts of town that different kinds of people tend to stray towards. But back to the wedding - Rob who I went to grade school and jr high and high school with is basically the first person I know my age to get married which is pretty scary. It was a very nice ceremony, kind of low-key for a wedding though. The ceremony was only like 30 minutes long, and the reception was in the gym with basically finger food and no dancing. Tracy and I were really looking forward to dancing :(. My wedding will be in a very classy church with a reception at a hotel and lots of dancing and drinks and a big party that lasts for a long time. No weddings for a while though, maybe a few years we'll see. Have to get through that law school thing first. Speaking of law school, I possibly may be living with a girl along with my friend Erik next year. Basically, we got a 3 person place and put one of Erik's friends on there thinking he would be down at U of I next year. Long story short, he's not going to be down there and we are stuck with an extra room which would be almost 200 more for each of us. So I posted on a messageboard and this girl called me up, she seems pretty cool and she's going to be a 1L in law school too so it may work out. We are down to one month here now, yikes. Better make the most of the rest of my summer! Here's a really cute picture of me and Tracy :).
