So I know it's sporadic that I post anything on any site these days but...
I wanted to bring attention to this article:
https://www.themarysue.com/first-published-slash-fanfiction/ I found it interesting that the Trek fandom has fics going back into mid last century. It's hard to believe that...but it makes sense as I've been reading and writing FanFic since I was 11 years old. That is over 20 years of my own life that I've been somewhere lurking in the fandoms around the web. Time can be such a fluid aspect and it's only when looking back that you realize just how much one thread of your life and others lives can connect to another thread decades later.
Now I wouldn't necessarily ever publish online my first real fanfic, as Lost Boys has been lost somewhere along the time highway but it's crazy to sit down and think about such things. Though some of the other ones I did publish as lillinfields on ff.net or other fandom archives can be considered just as ratchet these days. My earlier works make me laugh most days.
Though if you're paying attention at all lately to my posting as Lil_Jei here or on Archive of Our Own then you'll know I've literally posted 3 wips that I'm actually working on in the last few months. Maybe going back to 3rd shift will benefit me or at least my writing. And just maybe my Skurge/Loki FanFic will someday be finished AND posted...
