Writing Meme: Day Three & Four
Question 4: Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!
Once again I’m going to write the answer to this question as if it was about fanfics…because my first story with a character in it had to do with my dad dying-so we’re going to skip that trip down memory lane.
My first fanfic was a “Lost Boys” AU where Michael and David have a happily ever after and Star isn’t left alive. It’s kinda squicky thinking about it now…I’m 26 now and when I wrote that fic I was 11. It was definitely NOT an innocent sweet love story. It was slash all the way with a heavy dose of erotica and horror movie gore.
I was 7 when I first saw “9 ½ Weeks” and was also hooked onto the show “Highlander” so that set my fiction and movie tastes for life-or so it seems at 26. That helps explain how I was able to make David and Michael a romantic in death couple…despite the gore I still gave the story a happy ending (In more than one way). I had David seduced by the good things in un-life that Michael could offer and then they rode off into the sunset. If only all romance had that kind of beginning/ending.
