sleepyhead

... Lloyd is still asleep. I do want to poke him until he wakes up, but if I do something like that... he'll turn into a monster for the whole day. So instead, I'll complain here. I'll leave the task of waking him to our mother.
It's 7 AM. He's usually awake. We usually have our usual banter. I usually annoy him in some way or another. He usually annoys me back. We usually don't stop until we get to school, because we enjoy nerdy (and pointless) verbal tennis.
Lack of this routine leads to my boredom. As it has been explained by Lloyd, I no longer have any books to read (I'm getting new ones Sunday). I think that livejournal will become an outlet for my boredom.
Chai latte tastes good. It's very enjoyable when you're in bed with your laptop and the sun is just starting to peek through your window. *Bliss*
I have two classes today. Honours seminar and French. Honours seminar is fun. My nerdy friends are all there, and I get MORE nerdy (and pointless) verbal tennis. French is even better. I feel like reverting back to French now.
Back to English! Anyway. I love those classes.
The bad thing about today is that I tutor. I... don't want to. (Must think about something else...)
Ah right, right.
Speaking of twins, I've been doing some research on what twinship means in different cultures. Hurrah for JSTOR. Believe it or not, if we had been born as high nobles in Bali, we'd practically be divine, and destined to be married. If we'd been born as poor people in Bali... they'd treat us as a gross case of incest, destroy our parents' house, and make the village undergo a purification ceremony while we were sent away for a long time. Quaint.
And now it is time for me to get dressed and brush my teeth. (And for my mom to get a death glare).
