Happy Father's Day

This story is really great.
My grandpa died a few years ago, but when he did we were at his house after the funeral and in the backyard we saw deer frolicking across the yard.. literally like leaping up into the air. Deer were often nearby the house but not usually seen so close to the houses, then one just sat under a tree that my grandma planted in my grandpa's honor, and layed there for the whole day. My mom has always believed that my grandpa was that deer in spirit, and though some of course thought she was just being emotional and over reacting because of the whole situation, I kept the idea alive. There was another instance I can't remember about deer and my grandpa..... BUT today my mom and dad went to Forest Lawn Cemetary and were by my family's gravestones, and they just saw a deer standing about 30 feet away from them. They looked at it and at first he seemed startled but then just relaxed, my mom actually waved to it and said "Hey Roger" (my grandpa) and the deer actually shook his tail in response. That pretty much brought a tear to my eye. They just kept walking around slowly and the deer just kept his distance but was always watching them, following them a bit and just wandering on his own as well. It may seem like the deer are usually in the cemetary, but there isn't a woodsy area nearby and once the deer is in, it's pretty much stuck unless he's super smart and finds his way out. On their way out, my dad asked the guy at the gate about the deer and the guy said that it is the only one and he's been there for about three-four weeks, just hanging out i guess.

Happy father's day.. love and miss you grandpa!
