So it's been like a million years or so since my last update. A lot has happened since then and since I told Nicole I would, I am updating. I am sure you are all thrilled.
Let's see, since mid-March, I have been working continuously and going to school, became an aunt, moved and will move again in June, and a thousand other random things I'm sure no one cares about.
Work has really kinda sucked. We don't have the help we need in my department to get the ridiculous amount of stuff that we need to get done. We lost someone the first of May due to them moving to go to school. They seem to be hiring in all other areas except inventory and it is really starting to annoy me. I seriously do NOT get paid enough for the kinds of things I do everyday. Especially for having been there for FIVE YEARS...I have been asking myself, "WHY AM I STILL HERE?????" a lot lately. And really, my only response is that I might as well stay here since I might be moving to California in January to finish off school...so why go through the hassle of finding and starting a new job when I might move in 7 months? Unless something just awesome comes up, I'll probably just stay here...
OK, school this past semester really kicked my butt and I did not do as well as I would have liked, I got 4 Bs & 1 A...but ya know, it was a really hard semester and that A was actually in ETHICS which was an interesting, yet very difficult class. I signed up for 4 summer classes **STICKS FINGER IN MOUTH** but I really need to do them in order to graduate in 2008. And 2008 sounds so far away....will I EVER get done???? I am applying to the University of Redlands though by Nov. to enter into the Spring 07 semester. I really hope I get in...if I don't I really don't know what I will do because there is really nowhere else I want to go. I need the change of scenery and to be out completely on my own...a new adventure. Lately, I feel like I just do the same ordinary thing every single day...
And yes, on May 6, 2006 I became a proud aunt. Derek Lewis Greenlee was born after 52 hours of labor! He weighed 8 lbs, 8 1/2 ozs and was just completely adorable. Here's a peak of him about an hour old -
Anyway, I'm fighting to stay awake at this point so I will end here. I have work tomorrow from 7-3. Woo-hoo.
