Bit of Everything...
Wow, I have actually had a fun/interesting last couple of days! Wednesday & Thursday I helped Nicole move into the Village Apts @ Friends U! It was fun - really made me want to move and get the chance to decorate my own place! One of the days...
Friday, before work, I went some really neat antique places and I found an old movie book with pics and stuff on stars from the 30's - 80's and then an old 1968 TV Guide w/ Doris Day on the front!! There were so many things there that I loved - old furniture, etc...I love going to places like that bc you never know what you will find! After that, I got ready for work - the Harry Potter Release Party...a 10 hr shift. We had activities starting at 9pm and the book was handed out starting at 12:01am Saturday. All in all it was pretty fun but I was ready to go home!
Then Saturday, Nicole & I drove to Republic, MO for our friend Melissa's wedding! It was really great to see her, her parents, sister, etc. I haven't seen them in forever! Hopefully I can see her more! Her wedding was really pretty, but we had to leave at the reception before some of the usual events went on so we would have some light starting out on our way home. We were about 60 miles from Wichita though when we had to turn around and head north (about 45 mins outta the way) due to a 4 car accident blocking the entire highway at the point. But we got home safe & sound and it was a lot of fun - my first road trip with Nicole!
