KENNY CHESNEY - DENVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK! I am finally posting about Denver! I was so dang tired last nite from all that driving home I fell asleep at like 8:30 and didn't get up until this morning. lol
Anyhoo-the 7 hour drive up there was pretty uneventful. I was so surprised how EASY it was to get there. Just 2 main highways and then you are there. We left around 8am - but we were morons because we forgot that we will be going into mtn time so we were there at 2 their time/ 3pm ours. So we checked in a little early at the hotel and then kinda got situated a little and then went to eat at On The Border. It was yummy! Then, we came back to the hotel and still had about 2 hrs. We left the hotel and got to the Pepsi Center at about 6:30. Before the concert, I just bought a GORGEOUS 8x10 pic of Kenny & a keychain. I am not big on concert shirts, I never wear them. Then we went to our seats. They were AWESOME! 10 rows back DEAD CENTER! Then finally it started - on time I might add lol! Pat Green was first and played for only 20 mins...I have to say that I had never heard of him before, he was ok. Then a short wait and then Gretchen Wilson performed. For not having really liked her before this concert, she put on a really good concert and was very energetic and fun - she played about 45 mins. I got a few pics of her. THEN----CAME KENNY! It was cool because at the very beginning, his banner goes up and you hear singing but you don't know where he is. Then, turn around and he is coming down from the ceiling riding this chair thing. It was awesome. He went right over me - if I had jumped up, I could have touched him! ;p He put on an AWESOME 2 hr concert - it was a blast. I got a little less than 4 rolls (4 rolls minus the pics of Gretchen & one of me and Jason) of pics. I took them today and they will be ready on Tuesday. I am excited to see them -- I will have to post a few. I also took about 40 or so on my digital camera I took. It's so awesome that we could even take our cameras -- the KS Coliseum doesn't allow cameras. Kenny's concert though was by far the best concert I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few. The only other person that I haven't seen that I really wanna see asap is Martina McBride but she is about 2 weeks from her due date for her 3rd baby so yeah she isn't touring right now! But I seriously can't wait for when she comes here or somewhere close...maybe Denver again?? Who knows??? Haha..I really liked their Pepsi Center - it's a lot better than the thing we have here.
On a completely different not, we are having interesting weather tonight. If I find a pic, I will post the wall cloud or whatever it's called - a weatherman captured it - it's awesome! ;p
