Taking a Break
You gotta love junior year, right?
I have had seven hours of homework so far this weekend. 3 calc, 1 eng, .5 astro, 2.5 chem, and I still have to study for history test tomorrow. And astro not done. I started working on Friday, and what followed was the opening of Pandora's box. I had more hw than I imagined.
At least I like history right now. The cold war is my favorite thing to study, but this mid east stuff has gotten interesting, too.
Went to an art show and workshop with Frances and Mallory. Learned about perspective drawing. Was enlightened. The world looks even more beautiful to me now.
Afterward we drove through Starbucks. Frances got a shock. The guy at the window asked her, after delivering the drinks, which parent she got her eyes from. She froze and dissolved into giggles as she answered that the color came from her dad. It was a fun exchange to watch.
