What's up with teenagers in Singapore recently?
I mean, really?
What's up with all the slashing and killing?
I mean, I know teenagers are not the smartest creatures on earth (their brains are not fully developed yet). But carrying a parang around and slashing innocent people around the neighbourhood? Really?
One must be seriously stupid (or "brave", depending on how you want to look at it) to think that they can get away with it in Singapore. I mean, where are you going to hide? Kusu Island issit?
I'm quite riled up about this "killing/slashing spree" mainly because I find it to be such a waste of.......human life. First the victim, and then the killers (most likely getting the death penalty?).
I never quite understood the whole "you-stare-at-me-so-I-must-slash-you-to-prove-that-I'm-gungho" crap. Sure, staring is rude, but does it really warrant slashing? If it bothers you so much, just ask the person to stop staring!
And don't get me started on the poor, random people who got slashed for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I mean, sure, for a few hours, you probably feel all macho and "king of the world". But what's the point of that if your life is going to be taken away from you?
I suddenly feel old...and very wise. But then, I also feel like taking a stick and wacking those teenagers in the head to knock some sense into them.
Don't think that's gonna work though.....*sighs and shakes head*
