Inception
Hello world!!
Caught Inception last night with the JC peeps.
Inception is ingenious!!!!
How good is the movie? Seriously? All I've heard were good reviews about the movie and I was a bit scared that I'll be disappointed.
Oh. My. Goodness.
There was no dull moment in the movie (and it was a 2.5 hours movie, mind you). My favourite part was definitely Arthur's dream when there was no gravity.
To digress, I find Joseph Gordon-Levitt (aka Arthur) quite cute. Haha! Realised that he's the lead in 500 Days of Summer....maybe I should go get the DVD...hmmm.
Oh and when Ellen Page initially appeared in the movie, I kept flashing back to Juno...hahahaha...gotta love that movie too.
And, Leonardo DiCaprio is turning out to be quite a versatile actor (to me). In the past, I've always linked him with Titanic, you know, pretty boy kinda image. But with recent movies (Shutter Island etc), my opinion of him is changing.
Lastly, kudos to Christopher Nolan. I love Dark Knight and not to mention, The Prestige. But I think Inception might be my favourite movie of his now. I'm still trying to get a hold of Momento. Heard it's a good movie as well.
Anyway, back to Inception. Like I said, INSTANT LOVE. Don't want to say much to spoil the movie for anyone, but I think it's one of the best movies I've seen recently. Totally mind blowing. I think the ending of the movie is up to our own interpretation. The Psychologist in mind can't help but think that how we interpret the ending tells a bit about our personality as well.
So go watch Inception if you haven't!
