a little bit o that

so ive been acting like a real dufus lately:

1)a few weeks ago, my ssiter and i went to mary's pizza shack to place an order for a large pizza. when the guy asked me if it was a pick up, (thinking that he meant am i going to pick it up) i answered yes, and he asked waht name it will be under, so i gave him my name. then, he asked if it will be under any other names, and (thinking he meant do i want it under more than one name) i started telling him he could put it under my sister's name too, but stopped half way through my sentence and told him i was placing an order for pick up, feeling completely humiliated as he, my sister, and some other guys behind the counter giggled at me and my face flushed. coming to pick up the pizza, it was only natural thathe should remember me and not have to ask for my name :)

2)thursday a week ago, i was talking my dog outside to do her business, and since shes old and stubborn i have to go outside and wait for her so she doesnt wander off. it had rained the whole night before, so the ground was slick. i had gotten up ten minutes early just so i could actually make myself a good breakfast instead of eating granola bars like every other morning. i cut up banana in some cheeiros while waiting for my doggie, and then we headed back down the stairs on the side of my house (doggie's nails will scratch the unfinished floors in our house). i was wearing brand new red sandals(my fav color!), and as i was nearing the bottom my foot slipped and everything moved in slow motion for the next 30 seconds: my bowl of cereal spinning in the air as cheerios and bits of banana twirled in the air and landed everywhere; my left knee, calf, and somehow my ass slamming the stair. mud all over my pants, no more breakfast, and my leg in the second most excruciating pain in my life. after pulling my head back together, i examined my leg only to find some scratches and really really deep bruises (which hurt like muther fuckers still). i had to walk on my swollen calf into the house to clean up and change, then go chase my dog cuz my fall scared her in the opposite direction (man's best friend my ass!). i got no breakfast and left later than usual for school.

3)so, i bought this brand new strapless bra called a natural bra on tuesday, and of course i couldnt wait to see if it actually worked or if i wasted my money. so when we reach the vintage oaks parking lot, sitting in the car, i take off my bra (with uncomfortable straps), leaving on my shirt. when im trying to fasten the bra in the front i have to pull my shirt up over my boobs in order to see the buckle, thinking no one will walk by during the 30 seconds i have to expose my whole front. but of course this 30-yr-old guy comes walking by so i bend over towards the steering wheel really fast hoping he hasnt seen me, my sister giggling in the passenger seat and breathing "oh my god" in a giggly voice over and over. well, my plan almost worked, except for the fact that when i bent down real fast i slammed my head on the horn, and hearing the honk i knew he was staring towards us. my sister then explained that he was giggling and nodding at her, peering at the drivers side seat now and then as he passed by. just my luck! at least he didnt see my face. i think...

4)as many ppl know, we are having construction on our kitchen, so home-cooked meals are rare. we eat out almost every night, which usually means im chosen topick up some fast food. at a regular trip to KFC last night, i ordered our food and drove towards the window, believing it was around the next corner. i left a few feet space between my car and the wall, and as im driving about 6mph towards the window, i notice a hand with a drink sticking out of the wall. turns out i went way past the window and the drive thru girl was staring at me as i flew past her. i slammed on the brakes and put it in reverse as she tried to help give me directions on backing up and repositioning my car, thinking im a new driver though my sister's next to me (like usual). the girl was very patient and nice about it though, and i was able to laugh about it after fumbling about for words while trying to explain my stupidity. :) well, i had to get some KFC again today, and luckily the girl at the window was the one i usually order from (not the girl from the night before). and she is really really cute! she always smiles so sweetly and has great eye contact :) and tonight she remembered me from all the other times i had been there. i thank god she hadnt seen me act so stupidly the night before, though it would have been a real ice breaker ;) (her name is stefani.. hehe). i cant wait to go back to KFC!
