DRESSES (Hanna's Tips)

If you want to save money on your dress (not to mention time) you may want to get your dress made by a tailor.

Step 1: Choose a your preferred pattern (can be found at most Fabric retailers): $5-$20**

Step 2: Choose the fabric specified on the pattern (ask an associate to help you if you're fabric challenged) and your preferred colour at something like Fabricland (one near blair is the biggest and closest to Orleans) that's about $50 **

Step 3: Bring it to a seamstress(/what ever the male form of that is) have them take your measurements and they'll fit the dress to your body. You can also have them add little things like bows, straps, sequence etc. Should take about a month to make unless you tell them it's a rush order.
that'll cost you anywhere between $90 - $150**

Averaging about $182. The good thing about this, other than the cost and time, is that the dress will be totally custom and no one will have the EXACT same dress you do.

**PRICES ESTIMATED BASED ON MY DRESS.

Also another tip. Choosing a black SIMPLE dress gives more room for accessories (think necklaces, bracelets, earrings, anklets, shoes etc) so that you'll also look original and wonderful.

--------------------------

One of the first things that you need to take into consideration is how the men’s suit fits. Although you might prefer loose clothing, when it comes to men’s suits, it is important to make sure that it fits tighter than most clothing. All pieces will need to cut and tailored in order to make sure that they are complementary to your body type. While this may sound very expensive, it does not need to be.

Another one of the things that you should keep in mind when you decide to buy a men’s suit is that you should not worry about what brand you decide to buy. Whether you choose to purchase a men’s suit from Giorgio Armani or from the discount men’s suit store, you can get a men’s suit which is of the same exact quality. You do not need to spend more in order to get the best quality suit, even though most people would recommend you to spend as much money as you possibly can on a men’s suit.

Most importantly, the men’s suit that you decide to purchase needs to comfortable. You should never buy a men’s suit that is not comfortable. Never buy a men’s suit for the simple fact that it looks good on you. Comfort is the most important key as to whether or not you should even consider buying a suit. Chances are that if a men’s suit is uncomfortable, you probably will not look forward to wearing it in the future.

Ladies For your dates sake (if you have one...NOT MANDATORY they're lame anyways)  AT LEAST choose a goddamn colour so he can get his suit rental stuff out of the way. We both know he doesn't want to do it but the faster he does it the sooner it's out of the way and the less YOU have to worry about that. I say though go with him when he gets sized and tries on some stuff. You may prefer some looks on me and not others. He doesn't HAVE to match you but it's a good idea. Ties are optional and the colour vest/dress shirt is for the two of you to decide. Make sure your date can breathe though because it's going to get hot in that room.

REMEMBER WOMEN DRESS MEN. MEN DON'T DRESS MEN.
