what did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? Went to Chicago.

did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Not my style.

did anyone close to you give birth? Oh, tons of babies. Mario, Vincent, Casey, and a few more on the way!

did anyone close to you die? Actually, no. Though things got a little scary October 30th.

what countries did you visit? Does Pittsburgh count?

what would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? An adult relationship.

what date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? May 19th. Apparently, I graduated college.

what was your biggest achievement of the year? Hair, graduation, moving to Manhattan.

what was your biggest failure? Letting myself be swept away by nothing.

did you suffer illness or injury? Not as many as usual.

what was the best thing you bought? Reefer Madness.

whose behavior merited celebration? John Kimmel, with his Military Excellence Award.

whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? The persons who forced me to act like I was in high school this summer.

where did most of your money go? Rent. I finally did not spend the majority of my money on alcohol. So *that's* growing up.

what did you get really, really, really excited about? The surprise of the century: driving to Pittsburgh to see all the Point Park kids.

what was your favorite tv program? The Office, Project Runway, Studio 60, Weeds

do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Um, yeah, kinda.

what was the best book you read? Steal This Book, On the Road, Slaughterhouse Five, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being is turning out pretty well.

what was your greatest musical discovery? Reefer Madness

what did you want and get? A place in Manhattan

what did you want and not get? The Rent Tour.

what was your favorite film of this year? Little Miss Sunshine

what did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Four hour commute to work in a tropical storm, walked through floods, worked, and went to the OB Diner for disco fries. Hooray 22!

what one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Unlimited funds.

how would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? If it's not cotton, I'm probably not wearing it.

what kept you sane? My mother, when she wasn't the one driving me insane.

which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? John Krasinski.

what political issue stirred you the most? Saddam's execution is having a bit of an effect on me.

who did you miss? The Music Man guys, John, Gavin. There was a lot of missing someone over the summer, but that doesn't really apply now.

who was the best new person you met? Olivia Jayne Delia Petzy. Or Elaine.
