Today was a good day
Today was an average simple day, but for some reason was extra good.
I got to sleep in nice and late till half past noon. I woke up slowly then talked to Steve on the phone for a few minutes. Then Showered (though a low point of the day would be the lack of shampoo and condition in the shower. So I had to run half naked across my house to get some from the other bathroom) and got ready for work.
Work was a simple day with only one error on my part. Sarah left early so I was with Natalie for a hour before Jolene got there. Not too much conversation, just a few short conversations about how boring it is. Then came the challenge. I lost the little cheat cheat Sarah made for me about how to do the register. So it was about 2:45 and I had to do it all from memory because Natalie hasn't been shown how to do it yet. So I managed to count everything out and get everything done. Then I go to log back on and nothing happens. No paper comes out saying that it is signed on. So I figure maybe I did the code wrong. So I turn the key and try it again. Nada. I try and turn the key again and it beeps angrily at me. Thank goodness Jolene got there and helps figure it out. Turned out I must have hit this one button (I don't even know what button it is) that stops the paper from coming out. Jolene figures it out because she said it happened to her once. I con only imagine it was just me and Natalie working all night. I would have had to call Sarah and figure out what the hell I did wrong.
Nothing much else happened at work. Jolene and I just put out more Velour suits and discounted some more ugly tank tops. That's about it. Nothing overly interesting. The ladies from the nail salon came in much to my dismay. I can't understand a damn word they say.
After work I went to Wallmart and bought my grandparents a card from their anniversary. Then walked around until Steve got off. Then he and I went to Chili's for dinner since I had the gift card his grandma gave me for Christmas. The food was very yummy. Steve had gotten a Sobe today which said something along the lines of "I believe you have my stapler" this reminded him of Office Space so we went and rented the movie. I was very funny. We laid around being lazy and then I came home.
It was a good day for no particular reason. Maybe it was good because I actually got to spend some time with Steve where PMS wasn't interfering :-P aw yes I almost forgot the bad part of today. While I was working I got some horrific cramps and had to sit down for a few minutes before they went away. Thank you God for making women bleed once a friggen month. It's just not fair... drip... drip... drip...
I think last night Tiffany made the discovery that I am actualy funny. I think that in three points of the conversation she said "your funny" or OMG your so funny"... just an observation :-P
Well that was a load of boring dribble... maybe I will write something actually interesting one of these days... or post more pictures.
