No Nubs!

Okay here is my easy easy easy hat pattern for circular knitting:
I used size 9 (us) 16" circular needles. And I'm no yarn snob. I use whatever I have around.
Cast on 84 stitches.
Knit until when it's unrolled it measures a bit over 8" long. (over because when you knit in the round you aren't purling the row after the decrease row like you do on double points,so you aren't making it as long).
Now for the decrease. I mark the beginning of my round by just putting my ring on my right needle. Knit five stitches, then knit two together, knit five, knit two together. Do this for the whole round (untill you come to your ring again). then knit four stitches, then two together. Then three, (i switch for four DP now. four stitches on each of three neddles and one needle to knit with) then two, then one. Then knit two stitches together for every round until you have three left. now cast off by knitting two stitches, slip the first one over the second one and off. Then do it again. Cut your yarn, and pull it through the loop you made from taking the needle out of the very last stitch. Then I take a crochet hook and poke it up from the insideand grab the knot i made and pull that little nubby through to the inside. Nubbies are no good.
