"Are you ok?"
Looking up at the liquid dark brown eyes, she nodded.
His arms were tightly around her waist, holding so tightly it was suffocating, yet...she preferred it that way.
She never wanted him to let her go.
"Honey, I'm leaving now."
"Ok!" called a deep, smooth voice from the kitchen.
A tall, jet black haired young woman walked out into the broad sunshine.
Standing at the doorway, she blinked to adjust her eyes to the bright daylight.
She strolled down the street of her house towards the hospital, where she worked as a doctor.
Patients, visitors, nurses and fellow doctors were seen around the entire hospital complex.
It was so lively, but inside, she felt she was all alone.
She stood at the entrance and stared at the whole building.
What was it that inspired her to work here?
The endless tiring work. The emotional strains.
The forever pounding headaches.
