hehe, It's alive!

ALIVE!!! Mwuahahhahahahahha

yes. that's right. I have *internet* back!! Mwuahahahahhahahaha

wow. It has been a week. both literally and figuratively.

Last Friday my mom and I began the moving process, into my brand new, completely remodeled apartment! (It's really cool). It's on the third floor (which is the last floor of the building) and faces the sun rise. After unloading two cars, mom and I deemed it time to take a break. (ETA: 5:00ish) We went down to the corner and had pizza then headed out to walmart to do some food type shopping. By the time we got in, it was 8:00 and by 8:30 I was out like a light. (My mom found that highly amusing... let me tell you..)

Saturday brought my brother and dad with all the furniture type things. We did a late lunch/early dinner type thing then they all headed back to Greensburg.

I spent much of the weekend unpacking/figuring out how to set up my internet, which should've been available Wednesday. I don't have cable (except for the bunny ears Jess S and I got yesturday), and for a large magarity of the week my only form of communication with the outside world was my cell phone. That was an experiance I don't think I will *ever* attempt to repeat. *ever* @_@;;;

By Wednesday I had internet access, but no way of getting the software needed onto my computer (unless I wanted to wait a week for that stupid CD)....

Friday, Jess S (who is God like) let me barrow her internet hook up at her apartment at school, and I was finally connected to the world wide web! Mwuahahhahahahahahhaha

So here I am... actually updating my lj with *real* informational type things....

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS EXPERIANCE:
1. If you are going to get a new type of internet hook up (different from what you normally use) download the software from the web site *before* you lose all access to the web... and need to wait for a cd.

2. Spider Solitare is you friend.... You to will master the medium/hard levels of the game with enough time, and little else to do.

3. Electric heating does bad things to white furniture/appliances....

I'm sure there was other things to be learned here, but in the excitment of reconnecting to the web... I've forgotten what they might be....

@_@;;;
