BLECH!!
Today sucked my ass. And not in that good way.
It started out bad even. My man got up earlier than I did, so there was no morning cuddling. Then I woke up because I was having a weird dream about towels and art work and showering. There was some guy outside yelling to some girl that he would make her famous and if she wanted to make out with him a little bit. She laughed and then he said he thinks he made her mad.
My phone had already rang twice before I ever got up. So I got up and made a cup of tea. That always helps. My phone rang twice more before I left Jason's house an hour later. I did have a good time looking at my potential garden plot and watching my man shave and get ready for work. But I also got a nasty email from a client complaining about my invoice.
I made arrangements with a client to bring her paperwork to her on my way back up to Longmont. I got half way there before I realized I didn't have her stuff with me even. So I had to call her back and rearrange.
I got to my apartment and got an email from another client saying that the basic assumption I had used when doing her taxes was in fact wrong and so I had to redo part of it and reprint it all.
Then the phone rang several more times. One woman called who does the taxes for one of my bookkeeping clients. She asked me if I'd like to do some work for her. She also said that in the future I should code county taxes as property taxes. I'm not sure how I feel about working for someone else when in reality I'm thinking about hiring someone to work for me soon.
Then I watched The Notebook because I was working on someone else's taxes and got almost done when I realized I had to start all over because I hadn't been paying any attention and had entered some stuff that I wasn't supposed to but didn't know which was the right stuff and which wasn't. So then I was tired, confused, frustrated, overwhelmed and bawling like a small child. So I ordered a pizza. Because when you feel like ass, it's always best to REALLY feel like ass.
I did however take a nice long walk, and that was good. And I think I'll just go to bed soon and put today out of its misery.
