i don't know why new york gets such a bad reputation..
okay, so everything is really expensive. 8 million people live in a tiny area, what do you expect? yet there's a reason 8 million people live there..look at all the amazing things to do. you have museums, shopping like crazy, crazy scenery, and the most cracked out drivers and don't-give-a-shit pedestrians anywhere. you can see a broadway show, wander around times square, find a job and a life..it's amazing. bars like crazy, clubs all over..it's just an awesome place to be.
and so what if the people are rude. do you really need to sit down and drink coffee for 4 hours? i like being rushed. i love cursing (which you clearly can tell). i love the craziness of rush hour and the running around to catch a train. there's nothing you can't do- the relatively tiny city is so crazily diverse.
so, to end my pointless entry, i love new york. if you don't, get the fuck out.
