So I actually should be asleep right now... and technically, I should've been asleep about 5 hours ago, but I just can't seem to make it happen. First of all, I couldn't sleep last night, so I was up until about 6am, and then slept until 4:30 this afternoon. Ridiculous, I know. It felt so good though, because I seriously have felt like I haven't slept for about 3 weeks. Second of all, I just really really really do not want to go to work tomorrow. I'm glad to be back on days and everything, but I'm not glad to be back in that store after being gone for 3 weeks. There are certain things that I just don't want to deal with right now. How getting 2 hours of sleep will help anything, I'll never know.
This weekend was pretty cool, on Friday Steven took me to the BBC, and then we went to the mall so he could get Monopoly Here & Now, and I ended up getting Monopoly Nintendo edition. We played it when we got home, and I actually won. Saturday, my only plans after class were to watch movies and play video games, but that kinda went up in smoke after a phone call to Maryanne. I ended up going back to the mall to take Keith to Toys 'R' Us to spend his birthday money, and after spending about six hours there we went to Super Wal-Mart and called it a day and came home.
I was all excited when I got home, because I'd finally be able to install Adobe CreativeSuite on my computer, so I could do stuff for my illustration class at home. Well, not so much, because you need 384 RAM just to run one of the programs, let alone all the other junk your computer does. I had 256 total, and 128 of that went just to running my displays (the monitor and the tv). So, after consulting Dad, the Dell manual and the internet, I picked Ryan up from camp and went BACK up to exit 7, to buy memory at Circuit City, and then to Wal-Mart again, to return some random crap so I wouldn't be dead broke after buying the memory.
So that pretty much brings you up to speed. Today I tried to read a chapter for Art History, but only got about 12 pages in. Then I was all set to study for my quiz until I realized that I have about 45 minutes before class tomorrow, so that went out the window. The one thing I did do was paint a picture of Brandy for an assignment in that class, but it came out too good, and I didn't really do what I was supposed to, so I bet I'll get a bad grade. Oops. I really like that painting though! If I remember, I'll take a picture of it to post before I hand it in.
So now, I was just playing Need For Speed, and that wasn't even making me tired. I'm not even really tired right now. I can't believe that I slept until 4:30. I'm gonna want to kill myself in class tomorrow... I'd better get a coffee. Ugh, work. I don't know what it is - aside from seriously hating that place - but I really don't want to go back. But I do want money, so hopefully I'll strike a compromise with myself soon and go to bed.
