"I could've been a flood or a tornado. There's really no difference, actually."

You guys, I love this show so much right now.

I know everything was supposed to be filler, but THIS EPISODE WAS SO AWESOME. Oh man. I am so happy to have Heroes back in my life in a mostly unembarrassing way.

Claire is such a badass, I can't even take it. I LOVE HER. Aside from the whining at HRG (which, whatever), she was pretty much my favorite part of today. Her growling and mouthing off to both fathers was fantastic, especially this line: "So I got a pass. And everyone I know just... disappears. Except for skyboy, of course, 'cause he's got everything under control." WIN. It's weird, because I really didn't like the glimpse of future Claire we saw way back at the beginning of this season, but this? I love this.

For some reason, Peter and Tracy teaming up for a sec made me really happy. Tracy continues to kill me with her awesomeness; she still doesn't seem to have an exact gameplan (other than herself; she's sort of like Angela, in a way, which is maybe why Peter&Nathan like her so much. WHAT.) but Ali Larter really fucking shines lately. Peter was also pretty wonderful. His assertiveness is mostly adorable, and oh god. His scene with Nathan. The entire time I kept thinking "Don't walk away from me, bitch!" Also, this: "Are you tellin' her that I'm unstable? Crazed?" Not only does there need to be Nathan/Peter/Tracy, like, yesterday, but. Yeah, Peter, the unstable one is usually the person holding a gun. JUST SAYIN'. And, Jesus: "How many times are we gonna do this?" Epiccccccc! Peter and the boys were great, great, great. AND. I am not kidding about the Nathan/Peter/Tracy thing. If it exists, someone needs to point me to it, because, come onnnn:
Tracy: I know how he thinks.
Peter: That's 'cause you slept with him.

I might be a little more okay with Matt getting Isaac's powers, possibly more because they threw in a "He has Isaac's gift" line than anything else. That was the fakest spontaneous art EVER, though. And, how much did I love Mohinder & Matt having screentime again? A LOT. Of course, Daphne would make me love her a bit on the day she gets killed. This:
Ando: Because Hiro and I have GPS records.
Daphne: Of course you do.
Sigh. Bye-bye, Daphne.

Hiro was frigging unbearably cute, and I think it's the first time in a while that I really, really liked him. The guilt over stealing clothes ("I will take their address. Send money later.") followed by the "I am a warrior" was a perfect balance of old and new Hiro. Ando was pretty great, too, although the "Hiro's alive because I kill him?" was probably the episode's most failed logic. I thought that timeline was GONE. Oh, show. You take away the time travel element by stealing Hiro's powers and I still don't even know.

OH MY FUCKING GOD, Sylar. From the torturing people to the fruity coffee cup, I loved him so fucking much. This isn't old Sylar back, this is new and improved I DON'T HAVE TO KILL EVERYBODY BUT I TOTALLY CAN Sylar. "I let you live. Which, it's kind of a big deal for me." I LOVE IT. I think if the idea had been proposed to me, I would've found the idea of Luke to be very stupid, but so far I adore it. He's Sylar's apprentice, except it's already obvious from the slight display of guilt that he's totally not. He's not empty enough, and it's just going to be trouble in the long run (but I'm not sure if this show will really kill someone so young; have they done that before aside from Jackie?), but the walk off was just awesome, and the scene in the car, man - I am in love. All any kid without a daddy needs is a psychotic big brudder to show him the sociopathic ropes...

Speaking of big brothers, Nathan. Oh Nathan. I could watch Adrian Pasdar sell soap and be a happy woman, but dear god did I love the look of those telephone scenes, and the parts with Noah, and - goddamn it, everything. "Tracy, I am not the devil you think I am." I'm not sure how I feel about there apparently being someone above Nathan (sigggggh), but the fact that he continues to think he's doing the right thing keeps me okay with this plot. Also the fact that so far, none of this is actually keeping those Petrellis physically apart. KEEP THAT UP AND I WILL BE HAPPY, SHOW.

And apparently we're off to India so Mohinder & Matt can pick up their kid. I'm excited; are you excited?

In other news, tomorrow I have to get up at 5AM, go to the airport at 6, fly from 8-11, arrive in Brooklyn, go back to my sister's house and then get ready for a job interview. I love my sister; I appreciate all that she's doing for me, but Jesus Christ. This woman really needed to schedule an interview for me the day that I arrive in New York? I have to put on nice clothes, somehow summon up intelligible speech, and then take a test as well as have an interview with someone or other. She is going to killllll me. My one consolation right now is that I have wrangled her into taking me to see Friday the 13th. YES. ETA: Speaking of Jared, this. Can anyone be more adorable just by existing? I CAN'T TAKE IT. His hair is going to kill me in that movie!

adrian pasdar, hayden is my hero, it's up to you, tv: totally my hero, ruining my life, you win again, watching my tv or is it watching me?
