I love Harley/Ivy together, and really should pay more attention to them. I think the thing is that they're equally messed up? Like, with Harley/Joker the Joker's crazy far overshadows anything Harley does but with Harley/Ivy they're both allowed to be a little nutty. AND I'M NOT SURE WHAT SENSE THIS IS making, but yes: they complement each other a lot as opposed to destroying each other.
AND YES DICK/BABS. IDK, BTAS just set them up so perfectly together and they just really WORKED and BALANCED EACH OTHER OUT and ugh. In my head they're totally still together, and NOTHING EVER HAPPENED.
And hahaha I am so glad that I dragged you into the world of Wally/Harley, and Wally/Bruce/Harley. THEY ARE JUST SO SWEET TOGETHER. And hyperactive, and one day Bruce is going to come home to find the mansion blown up and it'll be GREAT.
And I am glad you agree with me on Bruce + Clark! It's kind of the case where I love them both as characters, and almost feel like I SHOULD ship it, but for some reason it's just never clicked for me in the animated universe. I just want them to be BFFs and commiserate over their bad romantic decisions together! (Clark's reaction to any combination of Bruce/Harley/Wally would be HILARIOUS.)
