the district sleeps alone tonight
so we left for los angeles a tad early. i quit my job and told them i had been selected to appear on the NEW PYRAMID hosted by DONNY OSMOND and i had to drive out to los angeles. (what really happened was on wednesday i was getting all antsy about our trip, so we decided to leave on thursday and not wait until saturday) i am in vineland, new jersey. not much to say about that. i leave tomorrow for nashville to pick up our friend chris henson.
chris was the first brotha to be crushed under the tyranny of my college. when i say "crushed" i really mean he went crazy. like totally crazy. since spring break, (a vacation from which he has never fully returned) he has been in and out of jail, homeless shelters and squatting in abandoned houses in columbus. he has been kicked out of his house and now we are taking him to los angeles about get him out of a rut. dan and i agreed that if chris gets out of hand, we will have no qualms with leaving his ass.

portland, maine to vineland, new jersey completed
vineland, new jersey to nashville tennessee
(and after this, we have to idea. i wanna stay south and go through arkansas, oklahoma, texas, new mexico and arizona to california. but we'll see.
this summer has been really nice. i am surprised and pleased to say that my first time living with a ladyfriend has worked out fabulously and is still working out. it was also really nice deciding one day to leave and not telling anyone leaving the next day. goodbyes are for suckers and go one too long for how little you will remember the people.
the best part about fight club was not the semi-shallow insight about men and instincts etc. etc. but the part about single serving friends. everything is disposable.
