aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
I havent updated in awhile, and seeing as the wonderful mood i'm currently in, this seems like a good time to do it. For the past week or so, Harriton has had either a late opening or early dismissal every day because of the snow.. pansies.....so today, while we have a 2 hour late opening until 9:30, EVERY OTHER SCHOOL in the entire area has a snow day, despite the fact that it stopped snowing at about 6:00 last night. anyway, this morning when my mother came in to tell me i could sleep another 2 hours, i forgot to reset my alarm. the next time i looked at my clock, it was 10:30, and my house was empty. if i had one more unexcused late, i would get an extended day suspension(oopsies), and i just couldnt have that. so basically my only option was to stay home alltogether. and so i had a lovely day of catching up on my work, painting my toenails, and sleeping in. that my parents dont know about

anyways, after that my crew buddies picked me up to take the swim test at lm. we had to tread water for 10 minutes and swim a couple laps, so it wasnt that bad, aside from the fact that we had to do it in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. that was a bitch.
this weekend i have a band trip to boston, which should be really fun because laur's going to be there and our curfew to be back at the hotel in the center of the city is 3:00 am. party. also, because of the trip, im not going to be in school on friday. so let's recap nora's week, shall we?
monday: half day
tuesday: home
wednesday: school
thursday: school
friday: trip
hmm, 2 full school days out of 5. im loving it
