What do you want to know about the experiments?

And no, I don't think wormhole or dimension hopping is possible back home. Dimensional rifts just don't exist.

[Hi, Andrew. This will be like talking to a much less easily distracted Willow. And a much more confident one.]

Just what happens with them, what their purpose is, how dangerous they are - is there any defense against them?

Huh. Maybe my world is an anomaly.

A lot of things can happen during an experiment. The first experiment I was involved in happened to involve swapping bodies with someone else. I was fortunate enough to switch with someone I knew, but it was disconcerting to be sure. Some can be dangerous. The most recent one had us all thinking we were from different worlds. We were the same people from our own worlds, but there were slight differences. For mine, I'd never heard of magic, which is utter rubbish to anyone who knows me. In an experiment like that, a person might think they're involved with people they're normally enemies with and enemies with their normal allies. You can see the problem with that.

There's no defense that we know of currently, but we all try our hardest not to be affected. Sometimes a person is lucky and they aren't affected, but usually most of us are.

[Oh, Andrew, you should really try getting to know Hermione. She has a notebook of very delicate information.]

This sucks. [Putting it mildly.] Why do they do it anyway?

No one really knows. We're lab rats to them. For all we know, it could be their sick way of entertainment.

Revenge from what? We didn't do anything to them.

But you know in those horror movies? The evil guy is out for revenge on society, not the people they hurt, so they're still getting revenge in their mind.

Well I can't remember the last time I saw a movie, but I'm certain it wasn't a horror film. [He's SO lucky she knows what he's talking about!] Besides that, our population... well, it isn't related.

[Well, Andrew's seen about a million spy movies - as well as some stalker thrillers, which had him paranoid about phones for weeks.] ... Are these things bugged?

...Most likely.

Would you like to meet sometime? We could go over some of the common knowledge and it might be easier in person.
