Sure thing. What is it?

It's my first time organising a Hawaiian party so I'd like to hear what other people enjoy about them. You know, so I can try to make it as fun as I can.

I think the biggest thing people associate with Hawaiian themes are leis. Traditionally they're given as signs of affection when one arrives in Hawaii so maybe put one on each guest as they arrive at the party?. They're usually made out of real flowers, but plastic ones are common too. It'll mostly depend on what you can find around here.
After that, think tropical. Bright, tropical flowers, palm trees, pineapples, coconuts. There's an association with grass skirts and coconut bras on hula dancers.
As a fun bit, the common greeting in Hawaii is "aloha". It means hello and goodbye but also means peace and love.

Got it. It might be a bit more difficult getting someone to dance the hula here but I think we can manage most of the rest. Thanks, Ginia.
