[QT!] Oscar Wilde Quote

Aug 31, 2008 17:58

“A man can be happy with any woman as long as he does not love her.”

Mickey loved his women, and he knew that most of his women loved him, but there were a few women that he favored just above the cusp of the rest, and he certainly had his reasons why. And while he knew this was color profiling, but blondes were easier to woo-and twice as much fun.

Not that he didn’t enjoy the occasional feisty brunette, but they really weren’t good for marks. Brunettes usually came with a natural skepticism and a quick wit, and while those were fun things to have in a partner, they certainly weren’t people you wanted to scam. Small scale, large scale, none of the above, brunettes weren’t the way to go.

Girls with black hair were vixens, but they weren’t exactly Mickey’s type. Some of them reminded him too much of vampires, and while that may be a turn on for some people, it wasn’t exactly his particular cup of tea. Others, while incredibly exotic and frankly downright gorgeous, came with that nice dose of skepticism that made the brunettes incredibly attractive but bad marks.

And redheads-well, redheads were just unpredictable. You never knew where they were going to go next and while that may work for some people, when you’re trying to schmooze them out of their money, you like to be able to know what move they’re going to make next. That would always give you some kind of an advantage, and with the firey passions of a redhead, he just didn’t have it.

Blonds were easy. They were predictable, easily flatterable, and really, when it came down to it, blonds really did have more fun.
