just because the sky turned from grey into blue.
so I haven't been on here in forever, and I have my reasons. mostly that when your man is half way across the world and you are secret pen pals with someone that can't live more than a mile from you, you get a little bit wrapped up in all the correspondence that you just don't have time for anything else. well, any more internet track keeping.
but for your sake, and maybe mostly mine, here is a very rough summary of the last bit of break.
*I worked not more than necessary. this is key. I therefore was able to enjoy myself so much more, yet still made some money.
*as a result of working since august, I got my bank statement for the year, and though I work the most minimal possible hours, I was pleasantly shocked at the amount of money I have accumulated despite all my withdrawals. vacation city. at this point I could sponsor my honey's train accommodations.
*have you heard there it go (the whistle song)?????
*I have become a serious student of whistling.
*I have become the best mix maker in the history of the universe along with miss c. rabkin.
*I hosted maybe the best new years extravaganza at miriam's house that combined so many social groups and it was pulled off to a t.
*watched so many episodes of the avengers and even had an avengers dinner party.
*had a sleepover with the girls where we didn't go to sleep until 6.45 in the morning. my sleep schedule has been so off since.
*realized how much I love nicole.
*embarked on a long walk that made me abhor the lincoln bus.
*that show last night was fantastic. since when did boys I know in bands start sounding so good? everybody who's anybody was there it seemed, as I even ran into mr. stabler!!!!!!
*today I saw HPAC for one of the last times before it changes buildings. james garrett faulkner happened to be there and he signed my catalog. I am practically famous already.
By the way, my birthday is coming up mad soon and omg. best dance mix is in the works. maybe better than new years. jeez. I have so much to look forward to. only time is holding me back.
