Favorite: - FLAWLESS crop and colors - I think the crop rotation is questionable here and a bit distracting; however, I think the coloring, image quality retained and actual close cropping are so gorgeous. - no reason given - I love the rotation, it brings attention to the cut and makes the image more dynamic. - creative use of the pic. The coloring is breathtaking. - Lovely crop.
Least Favorite: - It was really difficult to pick a second least favorite, so don't get discouraged that I've chosen yours, mystery icon maker! The quality of the icon is really up there, and I really love the coloring as well. What I'm not sure works here is the rotation. What is the reason for it? It takes away the impact of Dean's downward gaze without adding anything back. Perhaps if there was some sort of negative space to emphasize and/or the rotation was needed to make room for an additional element like texture or text, it might be effective. In this case, however, it just creates an unnatural angle. At the original angle, especially with a little additional light/shadow play, this icon would have been stellar, I think.
