Let George Do It: "Seeds of Destruction" (1952)The title of this series always makes me think it's a comedy, but it's a detective series. George is George Valentine.
George is looking for a man named Dan Craitan, who's gone missing for 3 weeks.
There's a Mr. Collins (Craitan's business partner). "Dead? Nobody told me he was dead." He said when Valentine told him where Craitan might be (missing, or dead).... Yup: he's the killer. Worse yet, he's the brother-in-law. Well, that would seem to knock out Craitan's wife, who I just figured planned the murder with him.
Valentine just brought up, "Have you ever heard of something called... a gay dog?" WHAT?
Oh, and Mr. Craitan was "a wolf" (according to one woman they spoke to). Calling a man "a wolf" - I forgot that nice descriptor.
"I'm not making accusations... I'm just thinking out loud." I want to use that.
Oh, boy: Valentine just figured it out (was Craitan killed or did he skip town?). I'd better pay attention or I'm sure I'll miss the explanation completely....
Oh! I didn't expect this: the story that they'd started to tell themselves was that Mr. Craitan was dead, then followed by the thought that he'd actually run off to Chicago with another woman. It turns out that the other woman's husband had killed both of them. THe only reason I knew this is that the murderer did the whole, "before I kill you I'll tell you everything" routine. Much better than hearing Valentine tell it, since it usually seems to come in .78 seconds.
Journey Into Space: "Operation Luna 03" 10/05/53Ooh - they're on the moon & stuff is moving. This is #3, and I thought I heard #1, but I can't remember #2. Maybe I passed out last week when it was playing.
There's some crazy dome that keeps closing on the moon. And it looks like the Doctor has been taken over by a moon alien. Just guessing.
Oh, and now the men on the moon are going moon crazy. That's only to be expected - it's... **space madness**.
Eeek! A week has passed and they were trying to leave and... they're stopped - nothing works on their rocket! I hope I remember to listen to the remaining episodes.
