gozu.
a yakuza horror flick indeed. i liked it very much. made me laugh out loud. wild hilarious wacky off the top ideas. some of the imagery and scenes read to me as purely male sexual gratification. then again, maybe there's some deeper meaning that i don't know about yet. (warning:spoilers) but hey, an old woman who spends her nights squeezing milk from her tits into glass milk bottle after glass milk bottle with the help of her brother for sale the next morning, in the midst of moaning, hints to me of incest and male sexual fantasy. and a grown man crawling out from within a hotchick's vagina? reads to me as male sexual gratification. but hey, i may be wrong. anyhow, i loved the film, in all its morbid twisted humour. but i still don't understand why the film is titled gozu though.
