“Forgive the mess.” Ianto said opening the door as Tosh helped Jack in over the step with the pram. Jack rolled his eyes.
Tosh looked around at the impeccable hallway, and looked most confused.
“Ianto, what mess?” she asked.
“I didn’t tidy up today, that’s all.”
“Ianto believe me if I didn’t tidy up for a day and my flat was left like this I doubt I’d do it for a month.” Tosh said in all sincerity.
“I’m house-proud.” Ianto clarified, taking Tosh’s jacket.
“I thought you said Jack had been painting.”
“I have, there were just plastic coating’s everywhere.” Jack said from hanging into the pram picking up his daughter, Glenda, and Ianto picked up Awsta. Both still in a deep slumber.
“Can I do anything?” Tosh asked feeling intrusive.
“Could you put the kettle on please?” Ianto asked as he and Jack headed into the second reception room, now with a cot and multiple baby ‘things’. Tosh went through and filled up the kettle. The house looked different from when she had first seen it all those months ago, although Ianto and Jack had invited her around Tosh generally didn’t accept, letting the pair have their ‘honeymoon’ stage, although it was still continuing so it really wouldn’t have made a difference if she was there or not.
The island unit now had a ‘wedge’ taken out to allow for leg room, to now double as a breakfast bar. As well as new worktops, now wooden, with a granite inlay, Tosh supposed for rolling out pastry and such, she knew Ianto loved to cook. Belfast sink, fittings in keeping with the era of the house.
“Like it?” Jack asked as Tosh was idly looking around the kitchen.
“Are you kidding, this place is amazing. You two have a good eye.”
“Well Ianto designed the kitchen, it being his favourite room.”
“And yours?” Tosh asked smirking, flicking the kettle on.
“Now must I really answer that?” Jack asked sidling up to her “You know we never really thanked you for being so supportive throughout, well everything.”
“Oh Jack don’t mention it,” Tosh said tearing up again “I love you and Ianto, I’m so glad you two are truly happy,” she said hugging him.
“We are.” Jack said his voice breaking.
“Something you want to tell me?” Ianto asked from the doorway, unable to keep a straight face for long before laughing with Jack and Tosh.
“Come here you.” Tosh said extending her arms for another hug, “I’m so happy for you”
Ianto obliged, and he was so very thankful to have such a friend in the world.
“Right, come one, before we all start blubbering away. What does everyone want to eat?” Ianto asked.
“What ever you’re up for.” Tosh said clinging to him.
“We’ll its only late afternoon, so I could do anything.” Ianto said turning his attention to the coffee machine.
“I thought you were going to have your first coffee with Jack.” Tosh said perching herself on a stool in the island unit.
“I am, would you like to join us?” Ianto asked.
“Oh no, thanks but I’ve had more than enough lately.”
“Fair enough.” Ianto returned, measuring out the allotted amount of beans to grind for Jack’s favourite blend.
Tosh sat back and admired the normality of the pair; Ianto busying himself in the kitchen, Jack following making a mess (purely to annoy Ianto), then Ianto sighing and Jack winning him back over with that devilish smile of his, or his infamous pout.
Tosh admitted to herself that the aroma of the coffee was utterly intoxicating, but excused herself to check on the girls as Ianto and Jack sat down, giving them their privacy.
Tosh shut the door as quietly as possible and tiptoed over to the cot. Both were asleep, she was gutted to see, a healthy dose of coddling is what she wanted to do. Tosh gently rocked the side, and picked up the nearest book on the side-table (Mansfield Park) and began to idly thumb through it, having read it during her college years and again more recently she was well aware of the plot line.

“Ianto you are a true blessing.” Jack said after Tosh left the room, inhaling the aroma billowing out of the cup.
“I hope it doesn’t go straight to your head, it’s been a while since you had caffeine.” Ianto replied pulling a chair closer to Jack at the dining table before he sat down.
“I think I’ll cope.” Jack smiled before taking a sip.
“Up to standard?” Ianto asked cheekily.
“You know what would make it better?” Jack asked in return, Ianto looked bemused as to what Jack had in mind. Jack pulled Ianto close, kissing him deeply, Ianto in return became the submissive and let Jack have his wicked way with him (well his tongue for now)
“…much better.” Jack groaned pulling back.
Ianto sighed heavily and had a dreamy far-away look in his eyes. Jack smirked to himself and returned his attention back to his exceedingly good coffee.

Tosh was on her feet again checking the girls again, and took another picture, when she heard an unearthly retching noise, she stuck her head out of the door to see Jack bent over the sink heaving. Ianto was soothing his back, but looked a tad disgruntled at the state of the sink.
“What happened?” Tosh asked instead of ‘are you ok’ which seemed pointless given the situation.
“I don’t know, he had his coffee then we were…anyway he just ran to the sink and threw up.” Ianto told her, incredibly worried and it showed in his voice.
“Jack we should get you back to the Hub, and run some tests. It may be contagious.” Tosh warned.
Jack seemed to nod and Ianto gently coerced him from the sink, keeping him close and rubbing his back.
“What about the children?” Jack asked.
“They could stay at mine,” Tosh said, “I mean if that’s alright, its just the Hub isn’t exactly the safest place and if it is contagious then it would be best to keep them away, at least until an antivirus is made.”
“Would you mind?” Ianto asked.
“Not at all, I’d be honoured.” Tosh said warmly.
“I’ll just prepare an overnight bag, are you sure?” Ianto asked again.
“Just get it done.” Tosh said in friendly banter, and Jack sat on one of the stools at the breakfast bar and looked rather pale.
“You might be sensitive to coffee,” Tosh said quite randomly, Jack looked back through horrified eyes “of course I could be wrong” Tosh hastily added to spare his feelings.

“That’s what you get for skiving.” Owen said being both smug and annoyed at the same time as he withdrew a blood sample from Jack.
“You skive all the time.” Jack growled and glared in return.
“Yes but I don’t come back.” Owen said.
“You are insufferable.” Ianto reprimanded and shoved the plastic container holding the coffee Jack neglected to drink into Owens hand.
“Right you,” Owen said turning to Jack, “quarantine…come on up you get you’re a big boy now, down the hall-well you know the way.” Owen said casually and waved his arm in the general direction of where Jack was supposed to go.
“Promise me one thing? You make his life misery until I get out to do so myself.” Jack asked Ianto in a hushed voice as they walked towards the doorway.
“As much as humanly possible I assure you…see you soon.” Ianto smiled lovingly.
“You’re not going to watch me change? Medical gowns are very sexy…” Jack drawled lustfully.
“Yes I remember you telling me so in the hospital after the Beacons, I can’t Owen wants blood work from me. Sorry.” Ianto shrugged apologetically.
“He is so going to pay.” Jack ground out through clenched teeth.
“I promise I’ll record the CCTV.” Ianto smiled cheekily before quickly kissing Jack on the lips.
“What have I ever done to deserve you?” Jack said dreamily.
“Oh just save the world on a daily basis.” Ianto mused then slapped Jack playfully on the backside, “Go on, Owen will be more intolerable than usual if I don’t go now.”
“Say ‘love you’ to the girls for me.” Jack said feeling melancholy.
“I will, love you Jack.” Ianto said miserably pawing at Jack’s shirt.
“Love you too.” Jack replied equally as miserably.
“Ianto!” Owens shrill voice broke through the air of despair.
“I may have to shoot him again, would you mind?”
“Not at all.”

“What’s up his arse? Or is it a case of what isn’t?” Owen in all his vulgarity asked Tosh as they were watching Ianto soullessly wander around the Hub, while Tosh was gently moving the pram back and forth.
Tosh turned and glared at Owen, “It’s the longest they’ve been apart since they got pregnant.”
“You are kidding?” Owen said with hilarity in his voice until he saw the look on Ianto’s face, “You’re not kidding. Suppose I should get the results then.” He said opening a file on his desk.
“You had them all along!” Tosh angrily whispered.
“I wanted to see what would happen.” Owen said in his defence as Tosh battered him with the empty file.
~…~
“Good news or bad news?” Owen asked both men as they sat side by side clutching one another’s hands.
“Owen!” Tosh hissed coming back from settling the girls down.
“Well…depending on your perspective, personally I say ‘bad’ but you two may have other ideas.”
 “Owen!” Ianto growled menacingly.
“Oh I’m sorry do you want me to continue? You’re going to have to say ‘pretty please Owen, sorry for interrupting.’” Owen smirked in delight.
Ianto made a lunge for him only to be stopped by Jack. Owen conveniently hid himself behind Tosh.
“As I was saying,” Owen started up again; a lot more subdued that previously, “well, you see…well Jack your pregnant again.”
“Really?” Jack asked, his eyes lighting up threefold.
“Read-outs are the same.” Owen said throwing the file at the pair, “Ianto you’re not, by the way.”
“I don’t care.” Ianto beamed and launched at Jack in a whirl of merriment and giddiness.
~…~
“Can you believe it?” Ianto asked wrapping his arms around Jack’s waist as he stood in the doorway of their daughters’ room.
“Believe what?” Jack asked in reply.
“This; what we have, what’s yet to come…how happy we are?”
“Sometime I think it’s the most blissful dream I’ve having but its real, its happening. That’s why I couldn’t be happier.”
“Neither could I.” Ianto whispered dreamily into Jack’s ear.
“Come on, let’s go to bed.”
~… Months Later…~
“Morning Tosh.” Ianto said as he passed her on the way to the coffee machine.
“Oh hi Ianto.” Tosh said shyly with her arms crossed high on her chest and she scuttled to her desk.
Owen was sat at his desk, with his feet on the top-much to Ianto’s annoyance- chewing on a pen and watching Tosh with great interest whilst he was “working”.
“Morning Tosh.” Owen said curiously with narrowed eyes.
“Morning Owen.” Tosh replied and didn’t make eye contact.
“You seem flustered,” Owen commented as he slid out on his chair towards Tosh, “you know you can always talk to me.” Tosh looked sceptically at him, “Doctor-Patient confidentiality of course.”
Tosh raised an eyebrow and continued to look sceptical. A loud thud coming from the coffee machine area broke their mutual concentration and they both rushed to investigate.
Jack had pounced on Ianto sending half ground coffee beans and grounds flying through the air falling atop the both men.
“Jack you bloody idiot!” Owen scolded as he put his gun away, “We could have shot you both!”
“Sorry.” Jack mumbled against Ianto’s lips, ignoring the wild flailing of Ianto’s arms as well as the grunts of discontent which accompanied him lying on coffee beans.
“Let’s just leave them he’ll wear himself out eventually.” Tosh said pulling Owen away, who was still fuming over being distracted from Tosh.
“Jesus! Tosh your-your…” Owen stammered looking at Tosh’s significantly larger chest.
“Yes Owen I know, my back is still hurting.”
“And you became Betty Boop over night?”
“Betty Boop?! That would be a blessing. This…” She exclaimed and waved her arms over her breasts “This is sodding Jessica bloody Rabbit!” she said in a huff and slumped down on the sofa.
“Does it help if I say I like the new look?” Owen asked and got a glower in return, “Fine I prefer your smaller perkier breasts, well what happened to them?”
“I don’t know they just grew.” Tosh said throwing her hands up in defeat, “I mean I can’t even drive they get in the way of the gear stick. I daren’t use the hob, and I have to sleep on my front.” She rattled off, getting more and more annoyed much to Owens delight, “And you can stop staring!”
“But they are real?”
“Yes Owen they are, why do you want to cop a feel?” Tosh snapped bitterly.
“Well…” Owen said and moved in closer.
“Sod off!” Tosh yelled and slapped his hand away.
“Doctor-Patient, purely professional I promise.”
“Oh you’ve never been professional and you know it. Fine but not here, in the med bay.” Tosh said getting up.
~…~
“Hi Tosh,” Jack said as he saw Owen and Tosh come back from the med bay as he was buttoning up his shirt, “Whoa! Tosh nice-”
“Don’t even!” Tosh warned.
“I was going to say nice boots.” Jack said to cover himself, but he wasn’t fooling anyone.
“Well as I can tell the girls here are the result pregnancy.”
“I’m not pregnant!” Tosh exclaimed.
“You’re not, he however is.” Owen said pointing at Jack
“So you’re saying I’m getting Jack’s pregnancy symptoms?”
“Well sort of, anyway shouldn’t worry and it’ll teach you to be wary of the company you keep. Where’s Ianto, can the poor lad walk yet I want a coffee?”
~…~
“Right, you know the procedure…” Owen said as Jack entered the med bay.
“Yep. On my back.” Jack said lying down on the examination table.
“Not somewhere you’re used to.” Owen quipped.
“Well actually since me and Ianto-” Jack started striking up conversation.
“Urgh! No stop, I don’t want to know what you and Ianto get up to…although it is pretty obvious.” Owen said waving his hand at Jack’s stomach.
“Where’s Ianto?” Jack whined “He should be back now.” He said looking around.
“You sent him and Tosh out to take the girls for a stroll.” Owen reminded him.
“Can’t this wait until he comes back?” Jack said looking on the verge of tears.
“Oh fine,” Owen pouted, “I’ll give them a call because I for one want to get home tonight.”
Jack smirked victoriously as Owen plodded off in a huff.
~…~
“So what gender is the little one?” Ianto asked clutching Jack’s hand for dear life.
“Do you want to know or do you want to wait like with Glenda and Lizzie?” Owen asked behind the monitor.
“Awsta!” Jack and Ianto corrected sternly in unison.
“Lizzie to me I can’t pronounce her first name.” Owen said looking at the pair.
“What do you think? Should we wait?” Ianto asked.
“Best not break a good habit.” Jack smiled.
“Oh no! No ‘habit’. I don’t want to go through this every time you two get frisky without a condom, no chance!” Owen exclaimed in all seriousness and glided backwards to his medical supply cupboard- that Ianto always stocked- and threw a box of condoms at the pair.
Jack caught the box and leered at Ianto.
“I give up.” Owen sighed and left the med bay.
~…~
“Once more into the breach” Owen sighed as he picked up the scalpel.
~…~
“It’s a boy!” Tosh squealed from above.
“We have a son?” Ianto asked swelling with pride.
“Yes Ianto you have a son to emotionally scar and to pay for the therapist.” Owen bluntly said.
“We have a son.” Jack reiterated, holding onto Ianto’s hand.
“We do, we do.” Ianto replied and leaned down to kiss him.
Tosh pushed the pram forward towards the railings, “You have a baby brother.” She said giddily.
“Any names for the poor lad?” Owen asked taking off his medical gown.
“Oh yes names! You’re not leaving me chewing at the bit for months.” Tosh warned from above.
“IeuanTyler Jones.” Jack and Ianto said in unison, over flowing with pride.
“Well that would be right Tosh would get a sprog named after her.” Owen said, only slightly bitter.
“Oh come on Owen you’ll make a great Uncle.”
“So long as you don’t teach Ieuan or the girls any swear words.” Ianto warned.
“Would I?” Owen asked innocently.
“Yes!” the trio replied.
 ~…~
“Jack its three in the morning, come back to bed. They’re fine.” Ianto yawned as he entered the nursery seeing Jack at the side of the cots.
“I know but Ianto…” Jack swooned.
“Don’t ‘but Ianto’ me, they need rest as do you. Now do I have to drag you out or are you going to come willingly?” Ianto said wrapping his arms around Jack’s waist.
“What’s in it for me?” Jack asked smoothly.
“Well we never did use that box Owen gave us did we?”
