[ The PCD flickers on, Ianto sitting on his bed with a thoughtful look. It's a moment before he finally adresses his device. ]

So... who else managed to retain their memories and identities during this fun little exercise? And just how long does this sort of thing usually last, out of curiousity -- ?

For those who don't know or remember - Ianto ( Read more... )

About a week, like everyone else said.

[A little pause. He totally gets you on the boring thing, there, Ianto.] If you're that bored, we could always go for a look in the Wastelands or something. Maybe we'll find a pet unicorn to bring home for Owen.

Ah. Not much longer then, yeah?

[ Unicorns. Is there anything that doesn't actually exist. ] For Owen, Jack? It'd be all fun until it tries to gore him with a horn, then we all know who'd wind up feeding and cleaning up after it.

What even would we feed it, and could it be house trained, I wonder?

You do realise that none of us could get a unicorn to come near us, right?

Probably not. All of us together would act as one giant unicorn repelling household.

Maybe you on your own, Tosh.

I was only trying to say you're a lot nicer than the rest of us.

It doesn't matter how nice you are, Ianto, they still only like virgins.

If you say so, then yeah. Away from the unicorns we'll stay.

Hopefully not. And hopefully the Doctor won't do anything too insane.

[RAINBOW SHEEP, IANTO.] You're right, unicorns are a bit too sparkly and pleasant for him, aren't they.

It might eat rainbows and clouds, for all I know. There're probably books on the things, here.

Maybe if this creature eats dark clouds, comes in black and scowled all of the time. I think they'd get along fine, then.

Any chance we could pick up a copy of "Unicorn Care for Dummies"?

[A little snerk.] I'd say a dragon, but then the house might end up getting burnt down.

...You know, in this place, I wouldn't be surprised if they had it in the library. [Which is RUN BY a unicorn. Har har.]

Shame, that.

I'll keep the book in mind to look for that next time I visit. Maybe we can get a pet, yet.

...If anything, we can go outside and adopt something that attacks us. That could make things interesting.

Well, it worked with the pteranodon. She's even been trained.

Mm. We could've been twice famous with her. Not only is she the only living dinosaur, but one who can shoot a decent three pointer when she doesn't try and eat the ball, that is.
